In the first of this on-going educational programme, naturopathic doctor, nutritionist and Director of PCI Europe, Emma Lane will explore how parasites, fungus and bacteria can wreak havoc in the human body.

The two-day course will explore these pathogens and how their presence can lead to gastrointestinal issues and poor immune function as well as causing tissue and organ damage and disease. Attendees will learn:

  • How to recognise the signs and symptoms associated with these invaders, how they are contracted and how to eradicate them;
  • More about the different parasite groups, their growth cycles and how infestation will affect the human body;
  • The key rules for dealing with pathogenic infections and imbalances;
  • How to address fungal issues including triggers for overgrowth, symptoms, sites of infection and how to address them;
  • In-depth information on balancing and healing the digestive tract.

COURSE INFORMATION

This two-day course takes an in-depth look at parasites, fungus and bacteria and is presented by leading naturopathic nutritionist and Director of PCI Europe, Emma Lane. Throughout the course Emma shares her many years of experience working with parasitical and fungal problems within a diverse clientele. She will guide attendees through the different parasite groups, their growth cycles and the key rules for dealing with pathogenic infections and imbalances.

During the course attendees will develop a detailed knowledge of common parasites and the many signs and symptoms that can indicate an infection. This detailed course also addresses the parasite growth cycles and what affect they can have on the human body. Eradication options and how to support the immune system, general wellbeing and kidney function during parasites cleanses will also be covered.

In addition Emma will present information on how to address fungal issues including triggers for overgrowth, symptoms and sites of infection as well as sharing information on balancing and healing the digestive tract. Various approaches and resolutions to will be taught. The appropriate herbal, spice and oil based anti-parasitical and anti-fungals will be discussed in regards to the different pathogens and how to utilize these treatment options.

Qualified nutritional therapists, naturopaths and naturopathic nutritionists will have sufficient knowledge to attend this course, however, it’s recommended that other practitioners should first complete the Holistic Approaches to a Fully Functional Gut course.
