Destination Wellbeing Practitioner – The Health Practitioner of the Future

destination-wellbeing-courseOn 12-14th May in London, Integrative Health Education hosted Destination Wellbeing® – Health Evolution which is a three-day course that introduces Emma Lane’s holistic approach to creating true and sustainable wellbeing based on her 20 years of industry experience.

Practitioners attending this unique training learn tried and tested effective techniques that are not generally utilised in the health industry giving them ways to differentiate themselves and get ahead of the competition. Taking principles from many healing methodologies, from naturopathy through to Chinese medicine, Destination Wellbeing prepares attendees to become Destination Wellbeing Practitioners who know how to stop the formation of ‘dis-ease’ in the body to prevent more serious health conditions.

We, at Integrative Health Education, believe that the best way to show the value behind our courses is to share the experience of our students. That’s why today, we are joined by Maya Petrova – a Holistic Nutritionist and NLP Master Practitioner who will share why she chose to attend the course and what learnings she took from it.

IHE: Hello Maya and thank you for your willingness to give us your feedback. Can you tell us why you chose to attend Destination Wellbeing?
I’ve been to different courses and seminars after I graduated as a Nutritionist but in all of them I felt that something was missing – a way of linking it all together – the mind, the body and the spirit. When I started my practice, I was mainly focused on bodybuilding and fitness until I came across Emma Lane who helped me realise that there was more to health than physical appearance.

From attending previous courses with Emma, I knew that with her there is always something unique to be discovered that not only works best but is also easily applicable. I also trust her reputation and years of experience in successfully helping practitioners not only regain their health but also improve their business. I believe that we are here to grow as a group and to learn and experience life with others. As a practitioner, I feel a lot more confident in using the education from someone who has been there, done it, succeeded at it rather than spending my days, reading online, listening to many experts and trying to figure it all out alone. That’s why I chose Destination Wellbeing – I knew it would have all aspects of health linked together in a way that I can easily use with my clients and feel confident in my success.

IHE: What did you learn from the course that made the difference for you as a practitioner?
Destination Wellbeing teaches you to assess health from a 12-pillars perspective – stress management, nutrition, self-purpose, happiness, me-time, breathing, movement, digestion, detox, mindfulness, energy creation and relationships. As a practitioner, I cover some of them in my approach but with Destination Wellbeing I see how they all link together and most importantly how if we only focus on improving a few of these pillars, we can see positive effects on the remaining. I also didn’t realise how much of an impact the areas of self-purpose, me-time and happiness can have on our wellbeing. Emma made me realise that each of us have a responsibility to firstly take care of ourselves and to make sure we take appropriate me-time daily.

I was also impressed by the tools in each section to improve that particular wellbeing area from chi exercises, questionnaires to assess self-purpose and values, to goal setting sheets and tips for changing habits.

Emma has also masterfully integrated some NLP aspects, such as the mirroring and matching techniques and learning styles to make sure we develop good relationships with each client too. I didn’t expect to have aspects of business training in the course so that was a positive surprise.

Another unique aspect is the structure of each section. Emma first explains the research and science behind each pillar which is helpful when talking to clients as some like to hear the stats to get the importance of making a change. This research-driven approach is found in the whole manual, further reinforced by Emma’s own experience which gives us more confidence in applying the tools. Emma has also done a great job in creating moving and inspiring visuals, such as the wellbeing characters to use with clients who are visual or the wellbeing continuum to show them their current level of wellbeing.

IHE: How did the course change you and your understanding of wellbeing?
The relationships and self-purpose sections were turning points for me. I learned that our values determine how we make daily decisions and how we live our life, what is acceptable and what is not, where the boundaries are so we can create good relationships with others. We also talked about the inner I which is the inner self and is a crucial relationship in life.

Understanding wellbeing from the aspects of movement and breathing was also eye-opening. As practitioners, we often think of movement just as exercise but it involves much more, such as the way we move in the day because our ancestors didn’t spend their time on a desk or in the car.

Overall, Destination Wellbeing is for me like a Book of Life – teaching you what to do, how to think, move, drink, eat, breathe and act if you want to live a good life. The ‘power book’, telling you the why and the how so when you leave the classroom you can not only transform your life but also the lives of others. There are many titles for practitioners in the health industry – Nutritionist, Health Coach, Naturopath, etc. In my opinion, the practitioners of the future, the ones that will be able to ‘heal’ and ‘treat’ the whole being are the Destination Wellbeing Practitioners. If we lead by example, as Emma teaches us and does herself, then we can truly make a positive difference in this world!

IHE: What do you want to say to anyone who is considering Destination Wellbeing?
I know that when you read the sections’ names, some of you may think that you know enough in those areas and you will probably not gain much. As someone who had these thoughts too and who has just gone through the training, let me tell you that you will gain a lot – from a system of wellbeing mapping that is so intelligently designed that you will be able to much better understand your wellbeing and that of your clients, to a deep understanding of yourself and how life works, and what to do to create your dreams.

This course shapes you not just as a practitioner on a professional level but also as an individual on a personal level. Take the opportunity this year in either Wakefield or California and see for yourself. I am happy to speak to anyone who is considering the course and share additional insight. The more Destination Wellbeing Practitioners we are, the better the world will be. Maya Petrova, Destination Wellbeing Practitioner – www.healthandbalance.org

My big announcement

This is a big announcement for me!

I started teaching in 1995, a scary realisation for myself when I thought about it as twenty years give or take is a long time. I have thoroughly enjoyed my adventures with different organisations and meeting so many interesting people, not only that, but my passion to teach others and to share my experiences has driven me to write and deliver courses, workshops, summits and keynote lectures all over the world. In a word, it has been fantastic and I feel very grateful for the opportunities and experiences.

I have been very fortunate that for over twenty years I have been able to do something that I love. I still love to teach, I still get a buzz out of it, however the time has come to take a time out. I need to take a break from teaching in order to fulfil another desire within me. One that I really need to see through. I really would like to finish writing my book.

Some of you are aware of this. I have been writing this book on and off for the last three years but still there are words unwritten and now I know why. The passion and time that I have put into teaching has made it impossible for me to devote the time to my book, as well as running my busy client practices in London and Wakefield.

For that reason I have decided that I will be taking a sabbatical from teaching in 2018. I am making a commitment to myself to write my book. This is obviously the announcement just in case you missed it!

What does that mean to you?
In a nutshell this means that I will not be teaching any of my courses in 2018. So if your intention was to do any of my courses in 2018, then you need to act now. If you don’t take them this year, then you will be waiting until 2019.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my students for their support, you have all enabled me to do something that I love for the last 20 years. However I would urge you, take the leap of faith, if you have a story to tell inside of you, or a message you want to deliver, then put pen to paper. Write more, ask permission less. Make time in your life for your story.

Thank you
Emma

Unlock the Meaning of the Integrative Health Education Logo

Ever looked at the Integrative Health Education logo and wondered what it means? As you’d expect, the design is significant; Emma Lane, who devised the logo explains what it all symbolises.

ringlogo

The pyramid shape represents the strong foundation that education gives us. As we gain more knowledge, this knowledge helps us grow personally, and as practitioners.

The choice of the gold and blue colours is significant. The blue represents the fifth chakra. The throat chakra reflects our speech, communication, hearing and self-expression. Through this chakra we can create better communication with ourselves and others.

Communication is at the heart of what we do at Integrative Health Education – we strive to share our knowledge, and of course, we study how the body communicates its story to us as practitioners.

The colour gold signifies wisdom and integrity, as well as a higher level of understanding – all qualities that Integrative Health Education strives to offer everyone who studies with us.

The eleven rings represent the major systems in the body. We know that wellbeing cannot just be attained through physical health but that our spiritual, emotional and mental states are equally important. So the blue rings represent the physical being, while the gold represents the emotional, spiritual and mental aspects of ourselves.

I have deliberately placed the mental, emotional and spiritual gold rings on top of the blue rings because the mental and spiritual systems feed down into the physical body.

The interlinking rings reflect that integration of mind, body and spirit. They also reflect Integrative Health Education’s approach which aims to give practitioners, whatever their approach to health, the skills and knowledge to employ a variety of practical methodologies that safely bridge the gap between conventional Western medicine and complementary and holistic healthcare practices.

For many people, the physical symptoms can seem more problematic. However, that is only where the imbalance is showing itself, and we have to learn to read these signs to reveal the root of the problem

The physical and mental work together, the human body is cybernetic, a system of systems and imbalance in one will create a problem and show up as an imbalance in another. We have to learn to read the body’s early warning signals, the messages from within and our facial tells – to understand that the organs are telling us something, often about our emotional or mental states.

I wanted our logo to be a visual explanation of what Integrative Health Education is all about – our approach to human beings.  We are aiming to integrate the allopathic approaches and viewpoint with the complementary methodologies. Modern research is validating some of these ancient practices and more and more we are learning that this old wisdom can be verified scientifically.

I believe that it is only through a truly integrated approach that we can find real wellbeing. Integrative Health Education aims to give practitioners the knowledge they need to help resolve their clients’ challenges and sustain long-lasting health and happiness.

Digestion – The role it plays in nutrition and our emotional health

A practitioner’s personal story of attending Emma Lane’s Holistic Approaches to a Fully Functional Gut Course.

In recent years the health and fitness industry has truly embraced the importance of gut health. It’s now accepted that only through a well-functioning digestive system can long lasting results and a sense of true wellbeing and balance can be achieved.

As a holistic nutritionist I have come to this realisation too, not just through my work with clients, but also through my own healing journey which started four years ago and is still on-going. I can now say for sure that thanks to Emma Lane and her in-depth courses and professional support, I finally know where I am going – my journey has a destination and I have the right ‘education map’ to reach it.

Whole body wellbeing
When I first qualified as a nutritionist I was taught to only look at the physical aspects of the body and to prescribe a variety of supplements and diet plans to treat these aspects. I was taught to always test and look at the body only on a symptoms basis. That approach worked well for a while until my clients hit either a plateau or attained only average wellbeing – the feeling of true wellbeing was not yet there. I personally tried a bodybuilding competition prep regime with that same mentality. I learnt that the body doesn’t function in isolation and we need to look at it as a WHOLE and always start with the gut – that is where we break down, digest and absorb food and also, as I later discovered, our emotions and experiences can also be affected.

Unique approach
This personal quest to find my own healing led me to Emma Lane’s Integrative Health Education courses. I has been advised to visit her but never looked further until one day I accidentally bumped into her during the CAMExpo 2014. I knew then that this was life speaking to me to take action and learn from her. Emma’s unique approach addresses the whole body and the individual inside. I haven’t yet found anyone else who teaches so well how to look at health from all sides – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Fully functional gut
I started my training with Integrative Health Education with the Holistic Approaches to a Fully Functional Gut course in October last year. I already knew a great deal of information on how the GI tract functions and what nutrients it needs so I wondered what else could it be there to learn. I can now say – a lot more.

Emma took us on an in-depth tour of every organ and its structure, function and place in the body. She explained the most common illnesses and recommend appropriate approaches and treatments. I was highly impressed by her recommendations as they were based on her 20+ years of experience of not just learning and researching but also seeing results with clients. She gave us detailed guidelines that we can feel confident to use too.

Gut health and emotions
My favourite part was when the course showed its true uniqueness by linking gut health to emotional wellbeing. Emma revealed how each organ is connected to particular emotions so if for example, we suffer from anxiety it is likely that the stomach will also be affected and visa versa if we have issues with HCL, for example, anxiety might arise too. This holistic approach was eye-opening for me as Emma gave us additional tools on how we can work with clients on the emotional side too for long-lasting results. The brief look at this particular area gave me the interest to learn more, and I have since attended Emma’s 1-day course specifically on organs and emotions – Messages from Within.

The course environment was very engaging and the class was small enough to allow better learning and time for discussions. Other practitioners also commented further on the unique knowledge about vitamin B12 absorption for example – one of the key nutrients for solving fatigue.

Emma revealed that in order to have good absorption of nutrients such as minerals, B vitamins etc., we need good HCL (hydrochloric acid) production in the stomach, along with good saliva secretion stimulated by a good cephalic response before eating. Taking a supplement is not enough. It is about how you eat (relaxed and not in a rush), what you eat (good quality protein, fats and carbs that match your lifestyle and biochemical needs). We also examined the importance of how good the digestive system is in breaking down protein and keeping you safe from parasites, bad bacteria or fungal overgrowth.

We also looked further into the role of good bacteria and how studies showed that it now played an important role in cancer prevention, genetic material formation, arthritis and many more health conditions.

Wellbeing platform comes first

Emma’s overall advice to everyone was to always create a solid WELLBEING PLATFORM to support the body while also addressing the drivers that led to the symptoms to start with.
No cleansing of pathogens can happen if the body is not strong enough mentally and physically. The same applies to weight-loss too as losing fat is also the body’s way of losing toxins that are stored in the fat tissues so if the liver is not well-supported the process might cause more harm to the individual.

As a practitioner, I can’t recommend the course enough as it gave me many eye-opening details that allow me to finally connect the dots when treating clients and look at them from a place of wholeness. I feel truly grateful to have access to Emma’s years of knowledge and experience that are all collected in my course manual – a great reference book when working with clients.

Invest for yourself and your clients
I admire greatly Emma’s way of teaching as her engaging approach makes the course a great learning process and her advice to treat everyone as an individual resonates with my philosophy as a practitioner too.

I wish Emma and the rest of the team a great year and if anyone is willing to take their health and that of their clients to a state of true wellbeing and wholeness, do sign-up for Emma’s next Holistic Approaches to a Fully Functional Gut Course. It is an investment worth making for both yourself and for your clients. As the saying goes ‘When you invest in yourself, the world invests in you too.’

CAM magazine

In the news

Since launching last year, Integrative Health Education has appeared in various health publications like CAM Magazine and Holistic Therapist Magazine.

Our educators, including Hannah Richards, Debbie Grayson, Graeme Jones and of course Emma Lane, have contributed to a wide range of health articles over the 12 months.

From the effects of stress to energy healing, gut health and parasites, we’re keen to share our knowledge with other practitioners and we’ve got several publications to thank for their support.

Positive Health Online has worked with Integrative Health Education from the beginning and has shared several of Emma’s articles. Bowel Baddies and Emma’s writing on parasites have proven to be popular features. There’s more to come on this site so do make sure you check out the articles in the coming months.

CAM Magazine is the industry’s most read title and Integrative Health Education has had more than five articles or news pieces published this year. The editor Simon Martin is particularly interested in Emma’s vast knowledge of parasites, fungus and bacteria.

Most recently CAM Magazine shared a report on Integrative Health Education’s Understanding Parasites seminar, presented by Dr Amin in conjunction with PCI Europe. The title also included another article on Morgellons. Known as Neuro-cutaneous Syndrome (NCS), this is a new neurological and dermatological disorder caused by incompatible dental materials.

NCS is characterised by pinprick sensations that are easily misdiagnosed as symptoms of a parasite infection. When tested, no parasites are found, leading to a diagnosis of ‘delusional parasitosis’. However the real cause of the symptoms is metal and sealant toxins which can lead to opportunistic infections from bacteria.

Emma has also been asked to write a series of articles for CAM Magazine. The first, a piece on parasites, fungus and bacteria, will be out in the magazine in time for CAM Expo. Three articles in total are planned so don’t forget to get your copy every month!

Just as our name suggests, Integrative Health Education offers practitioners the opportunity to integrate their health knowledge and employ a range of methodologies to give their clients the best possible health outcomes. Sharing our knowledge is at the heart of what we do. So it’s no surprise that Emma has contributed to Nutrition I-Mag – the online publication for nutrition students. January saw Emma share her thoughts on detox and you can read the article here.

Our blogs have also been spotted by Holistic Therapist Magazine. They’ve featured a number of articles by Emma, including Tongues Tell Tales and The Energy Trinity. Keep your eye on their website because there are more blogs due out next month!

Also in October…listen to Emma’s podcasts for the Digestion Detective. Tune in from the first week of October to learn more about parasites, fungus and bacteria.

Want to learn how to raise your profile in the media? Integrative Health Education’s PR trainer, Nichole Sweetsur, is on hand to help. Why not post your PR questions for her on the Integrative Health Education Facebook page?

International Fitness Show in Blackpool

The Integrative Health Education team will be out in force at this year’s International Fitness Show in Blackpool. Emma Lane, Graeme Jones, Rob Yang and James Duffin will all be presenting talks!! Don’t miss this opportunity to meet the IHE educators. You can find us at stand 46. International Fitness Show in Blackpool schedule 2015 Here’s a schedule of talks by our team. Don’t miss a minute of these workshops – we’re packing them with practical information! If you want to find out more about this year’s IFS, go to the website here: http://chrysalispromotions.com/ifs/

Make 2015 your best year yet…part two

There is so much to look forward to from Integrative Health in 2015. We pride ourselves on working with the best trainers, but we also seek out courses that are the missing link in helping practitioners improve the way they work with clients.

A great example of this is Debbie Grayson’s Basic Pharmacology and Drug, Nutrient Interactions course held in February, July and October. The course will give practitioners a practical working knowledge of interactions between common pharmaceutical drugs and supplements. This course is recognised by the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and provides seven hours CPD towards therapists’ annual accreditation and certification is provided.

Fully qualified osteopaths, physiotherapists, sports massage therapists, personal trainers and CHEK practitioners should look out for James Duffin’s Integrative Neuromuscular Therapy workshop in April. Integrative Neuromuscular Therapy (INMT) is an in-depth form of ‘hands-on’ therapy, which applies specific soft tissue therapy techniques to alleviate the symptoms of acute and chronic pain syndromes. James Duffin has worked closely with José A. Llaguno, one of the world leaders in INMT. If you miss April then don’t worry, James will be back with this one later in the year.

One of our best-loved educators, JP Sears, will be braving the UK winter to teach here in March. Based in California, JP is a holistic lifestyle coach who helps to empower people to live more meaningful lives as whole individuals. His courses are relevant to many different sectors of health and wellbeing so watch out for more news of his visit.

We’re really excited about welcoming Kieran Macphail to the team. Kieran is a physiotherapist, nutritional therapist and exercise specialist who is passionate about getting people out of chronic pain and back to what they do best. His course, A Practical Approach to Mastering Breathing, will take place in April and uses case studies and practical sessions to teach practitioners how to assess and improve a patient’s breathing mechanics.

And last, but certainly not least, our very own Emma Lane will be teaching her World of Parasites, Fungus and Bacteria course…look out for Level 2 towards the end of the year. Also new for 2015 is her Destination Wellbeing diploma…more news on that very soon.

So as you are settling down to enjoy the Christmas break, do take some time over the holiday to think about your CPD in 2015. It’s going to be another exciting year at Integrative Health Education and we hope you will join our community.

Merry Christmas from Emma, Graeme and the whole team!

Make 2015 your best year yet…part one

Becoming the best practitioner you can be takes hard work, it takes time and it requires the right training. Planning your training and finding the best course is often the hardest part to get right.

Emma Lane, founder of Integrative Health Education, explains her approach to her own CPD: ‘I’ve always been very proactive with my personal development. I’m constantly looking at how I can meet my clients’ health and wellbeing needs and improve or broaden my treatment options.

‘Talking to other practitioners is key. If I learn of a type of practice or treatment that I feel complements my existing skill set or will help me to answer a client’s health issue I then seek out the best practitioner in that field to learn from. I want to learn from the best and that’s the approach upon which we’ve built Integrative Health Education.’

Courses planned for 2015 include some well-established, ‘essential learning’ workshops such as Emma’s Holistic Approaches to a Fully Functional Gut and Graeme Jones’ Stress: A Modern Day Epidemic as well as some new topics that will have wide appeal like Tells of a Dis-Eased Body. Unique to Integrative Health Education, this one-day course takes a fascinating look at the warning signs the body gives us. Learn facial and tongue analysis, visceral somatic referral patterns and nail analysis – tools that will help practitioners understand their clients’ internal ecology and spot signs of potential disease development.

Personal trainers and corrective exercise specialists can look forward to some excellent courses next year and Integrative Health Education is delighted to welcome Mark Buckley. Mark is an orthopaedic rehabilitation expert and strength and conditioning coach from New Zealand who has worked with many professional athletes. He’ll be flying into the UK in September to teach his FMA Strength Training workshop.

Earlier in the year PTs should look out for Robert Yang who is coming over from America to teach Olympic Lifting in March and he flies back in July for his Programme Design course (definitely a ‘must-do’ for 2015!). Rob is a certified nutritionist, strength and conditioning specialist, Olympic weight-lifting coach and an advisory board member with the Titleist Performance Institute, so don’t miss out on him coming to the UK.

Graeme Jones, one of Integrative Health Education’s directors and our resident ‘stress expert’, will be on hand to help practitioners tackle this highly relevant topic. Stress: A Modern Epidemic will be held in February and June and is hugely beneficial to all practitioners as it introduces stress physiology, pathophysiology and psychobiology. Graeme’s new course, The Effects of Stress on Weight Loss: A Guide to Helping Clients is very relevant to a wide variety of practitioners, from PTs to nutritionists. Look out for this in June, October and November – no excuse to miss it!

Anyone looking to grow their business in 2015 should start the year as they mean to go on and book Nichole Sweetsur’s PR and Social Media course in January. This one-day workshop is a very hands-on day that helps ALL practitioners get to grips with their marketing.

This is a just a taster of what we’ve got in store for 2015…. look out for part two of this blog which is coming soon!

And for an overview of all the 2015 courses, have a look at our calendar.

More Than Your Average Training Course

Our courses are not just about learning new ways to help bring your clients to optimal health and wellbeing. Although of course you’ll gain new skills, more knowledge and lots of practical ways to improve the way you work with patients. An Integrative Health Education course offers way more than that.

One of our missions is to build a community of like-minded practitioners who are willing to support each other. We tend to attract great practitioners. Those who are open to learning, who want to be the best they can be and are truly dedicated to helping their patients. If that sounds like you, we promise you’ll meet other, equally dedicated individuals at our courses.

It’s not just about making new friends and colleagues. Anyone who attends an Integrative Health Education course can also join our growing forum. This is where people can ask questions, share their experiences and knowledge and get support from each other and our world-class educators. Forum topics include stress, pathogens, bodywork, strength training, PR and marketing, healing and digestion. Our educators also post new and relevant research on the forum so as this grows and becomes more popular it will become a storage vault of valuable information that you can access.

If that’s not enough of an incentive then remember that anyone who has attended an Integrative Health Education course will also be able to attend our annual Practitioner Training Weekend. This two day educational and social get together has gained the reputation as a ‘not to be missed’ event. Why? Because our educators prepare special sessions, share insights and case study notes and the Saturday BBQ is a bash to remember.

Those attending relevant courses will also benefit from our associated supplements and health product website – Holistics Online. You can earn 10% commission on purchases made by your clients via a special code and you will be able to access a special practitioner-only section of the website.

As you’d expect, Integrative Health Education courses contribute to a wide range of industry bodies CPD requirements. We work closely with a number of organisations, such as the Naturopathic Nutrition Council, the Federation of Holitistic Therapists and the Association of Registered Colon Hydrotherapists to ensure we are meeting the industry’s training needs.

For example, The Federation of Holistic Therapists requires a minimum of 10 CPD points per year. A one-day Integrative Health Education training course will contribute five points towards that total.

At the end of each completed course, attendees are given a certificate, which confirms the number of hours and CPD points gained. We recommend you keep these certificates on file to ensure you have the correct paperwork on hand for CPD validation.

Our courses are created to help practitioners treat their clients ‘wholistically’ and our vision is that health practitioners can develop the skills and knowledge to employ a variety of practical methodologies that safely bridge the gap between conventional Western medicine and holistic healthcare practices.

Through our training courses we aim to give practitioners, whatever their approach to health and wellbeing, the knowledge, skills and tools that will enable them to deliver the best possible approaches to resolve their patients’ or clients’ health challenges. Join our community.

Welcome to Our Community!

The Integrative Health Education Forum is launching in just a few days time. We’re very excited about this next step in our journey to build a community of like-minded practitioners and look forward to reading everyone’s contributions.

Our intention is that the forum will be a community resource where practitioners who have taken any one of our courses can sign up to and start discussions, ask questions, share ideas and knowledge. We hope you will all come together as a community to support each other and in turn be supported by our team of presenters.

Our experts and trainers will be on hand to answer questions but we believe that everyone has something to contribute and the forum will be a place to share knowledge and ideas. It will become a knowledge resource and you’ll be able to search for topics that interest you as well as ask questions and start discussions.

The forum will be invitation only and is limited to those who have attended Integrative Health Education courses. Our presenters will be on hand to offer advice, however it’s our vision that this channel will help us to connect with our peers and learn from each other.

The Integrative Health Education Forum will cost £20 to join. Everyone who signs up within the first month will be entered into a prize draw and will have the chance to win an hour of free mentoring with an Integrative Health Education presenter of their choice from the following: Emma Lane, Graeme Jones, Debbie Grayson, Kieran Macphail, Mark Buckley, James Duffin, Nichole Sweetsur or Robert Yang. If you’re not familiar with their expertise or specialisms, you can find out more on our website.

We have some very exciting plans in the pipeline for 2015, with some great new courses, amazing presenters and the IHE Forum, along with our Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter social media channels, will be a great way for us all to stay in touch.

Courses

INTEGRATIVE HEALTH EDUCATION brings together the best health educators from around the world to present a comprehensive programme of training opportunities. Course subjects include gastrointestinal health, parasites, fungus and bacterial infections, energy and emotional healing practices and mindfulness. If there is a subject you’d like to learn more about, but can’t find a course, just let us know.

Mission Statement

Our vision is that health practitioners can develop the skills and knowledge to employ a variety of practical methodologies that safely bridge the gap between conventional Western medicine and holistic healthcare practices.

Through our training courses we aim to give practitioners, whatever their approach to health and wellbeing, the knowledge, skills and tools that will enable them to deliver the best possible approaches to resolve their patients or client’s health challenges.
